Spring is Coming
Spring is in the air and the mares are heavy in foal. I don’t have any really early foals expected this year which is a good thing, last year I had two foals the first week of April and they had to stay indoors for almost three weeks as there was just no dry place to put them. My pens were under snow, water or mud!
The horses are starting to shed their winter hair but we still have so much snow that it is not muddy yet.
